I saw Stevie Wonder perform at American Idol last week and he sang one of my favorite songs. I was indeed overjoyed watching him perform after a stressful day at work.

My Handwriting

Mariuca Mariuca asked me to do and have fun with this tag. She wants to see my handwriting after I mentioned to her about my silliness when I was still a naive, high school student. I tried to copy my teacher’s handwriting which looked like Mariuca’s handwriting. As you can see, it’s far from similar to her. After some time, I have decided, I’d rather stick to my own. Pardon me, my camera has a poor quality :(

After graduation last Sunday, my mother-in-law treated us to a dinner at a local farm resort, The Farm @Carpenter Hill. I noticed this hand-shaped couch and I really fell in love with it. It looks and feels so comfy and I love sitting on it.

Music Mondays IV: At The Beginning

The graduation ceremony yesterday was indeed memorable for me. It was far different from my college graduation since I was still young that time and my mind kept wandering. Moreover, I was seated at the back so I have no intention of listening or paying attention to whatever was happening at the stage. I was only waiting for my time to march on the stage and for the ceremony to end. This time, I was seated at the third row and I was more focused on the program. I even find myself listening intently to the awe-inspiring speech of the guest speaker. I really felt like a graduate and I am so proud of my achievement. In the end, we sang our graduation song, At The Beginning. I was so touched, I felt like crying.

Congratulations To Me!

I just got back from Cebu and I have a lot of things to catch up since I wasn't able to connect to the internet back at the hotel. There was an internet connection, but I'm just too tired to open it when I got there. All I want is to sleep, sleep and sleep. I just got too tired from wandering. I really enjoyed my stay there and I do have a lot to blog about. I think I will feature the companies we have visited here later.

Aside from internet stuffs, I also have to process my graduation for tomorrow, you know last minute preparations. Yes, I will be marching tomorrow. I am now a certified Master in (secret). Hahaha! Sorry, I'm just ashamed to tell you. I know I have to be proud. I just think I don't deserve it. Nonetheless, I'm still happy that is why I will march. Still, congratulations to me. ;)

Off To My Hometown!

I'm off to Cebu for a week! I'm going to accompany a group of students for their field trip. Exciting as it is, this also means I'll miss FC and Top Dropper. I just hope you continue dropping and visiting here while I'm away. I, on the other hand, will bring my laptop along with me. So if there's an internet connection at the hotel where we will be staying, I'll try to drop back. ;)

We are going to Bora!

Summer is brewing and I can already feel the heat. It would be better if it is spent on the beach and best if it is in Bora! And that's where we are going this Holy Week! What's more? It is all expense paid courtesy of my father-in-law. Yoooohooo! Haha! Don't mind me. I am just so ecstatic I feel like jumping. We are going to spend only 4 days and 3 nights in Bora. But before that, my husband, my 2 kids and me will go home to Cebu particularly in Bantayan Island. I just want to visit my grandparents there. I haven't seen them for more than 5 years already. Anyways, it would be a week long vacation and I am looking forward to it. It would definitely push through since I have purchased the tickets online already. I'm so excited I feel like packing now.

A Not So Happy Birthday

It was my daughter's 7th birthday last Tuesday, March 3. Days prior to that, we have been planning on what to do on that day. It was decided that she is going give out Jollibee snacks as a birthday treat to her classmates after school and later on a small party for family and friends at home. While I was busy preparing for the party, her school called and informed me that my daughter was at the clinic complaining of stomach ache. I rushed to her school and I learned that she also has a fever, so I brought her home and let her rest. That means no Jollibee treat for her classmates anymore but the dinner party had to push through. Yes, there was a party but the birthday girl is missing. She is in her room, suffering from her illness. Poor girl!

Laboratory results the next day showed that she has Urinary Track Infection and typhoid fever. She's been having UTI since she was a baby. *sigh*. She's been missing her classes and it's almost exam week. I just hope she gets well soon.

I wouldn't let this day pass without posting this. It's already time to go home and I'm the only one left here in the office. It took me this late to write this post since there is a problem with our internet connection. Anyways, if only I could place a shout out, I would gladly make one for Gagay She is truly an angel! Extending her hands to help me with my CommentLuv and take note, she offered to help me first. As you can see, it's properly functioning right now, free of errors! Yehey!

And by the way, this is my fourth post for this day! Haha! Am I having a post marathon? I remember just last week I wrote a comment for Mariuca wishing I could do it too (she broke her own record by having 3 posts in one day). And now here I am, also breaking a record of my own. The most number of posts in one day!

Well, enough of that I've got to go home now, it's getting dark outside and scary inside, LOL. Once again, my hugs and kisses to Gagay! I really can see a halo above ur head. ;)
