If asked to rate my driving skills in a rate of 1 to 10, I would give myself a 4 for manual transmission. I am confident I can drive alone with automatic transmission so I rate myself 7 for that. My poor driving skills is reason enough why hubby wouldn't allow me to drive especially if it has a manual transmission. He can't blame me, though, as I've never really had a proper driving lesson. As much as I want to learn and practice constantly, I just can't as we don't have our own car yet. What we are using right now is borrowed from his parents and he doesn't want me to use it for practice. It might overheat and damage its head gasket or I might bump it and damage the car itself and end up in a car repair shop, like Los Angeles auto repair. I understand, though I silently long for our own.
Now that our business is picking up, he happily told me that the day that I'd finally learn to drive is drawing near. He said he'd buy the one with dual transmission so I can drive using the automatic transmission. Whatever it is, dream cars or not, even if it is the second hand Honda Civic his friend is offering him, I would still gladly accept it. What matters is that finally we would have our own car and finally I would be able to learn how to drive.
