Caregivers Just Wanna Have Fun

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of NMEDA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Rarely do we, Filipinos send our aged loved ones to homes for the elderly due to close family ties. Same is true with our loved ones who have disabilities. As much as possible we take care of them ourselves. When there are outings or out-of-town gatherings, more often than not the one taking care of the elderly/disabled is left behind. Therefore, both the elderly or disabled loved one and the so-called caregiver oftentimes miss the fun. If only NMEDA dealers are available here, both of them would surely enjoy life the most.

NMEDA is a non-profit trade organization which stands for National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association. They don’t sell anything but they promote safe driving and equipment for people with disabilities. They have dealers who sell handicap vans and vehicle modifications that specifically cater the needs of disable people. Nothing to worry as these dealers adhere to the safety standards of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

NMEDA has two groups of dealers. One is the ordinary dealership and second is the Quality Assured Program or QAP. Although both groups provide customized vehicles to fit the needs of disabled people, QAP is the only nationally recognized accreditation program for the Adaptive Mobility Equipment Industry. It adheres to the principle that in order to satisfy customers consistently, companies must have a systematic and documented approach to quality.

Being a caregiver is not an easy job so if you or anyone you know works as one, be sure to check with a NMEDA dealer near you. You may do so by providing a zip code on their homepage. Check it out now so you can have fun and enjoy life!
