Beautiful Blogger Award

*sigh* Brown out again. I thought it was the last time earlier and to think it's so hot. I feel like taking a shower again. I hope this brown out thingy will end soon. Anyway, even if I feel sticky, I still feel beautiful when Gagay gave me this Beautiful Blogger award. This is also my first ever award this year. Thanks a lot GG.

Accepting this award would mean letting you know seven things about myself. So here it goes...


1. I am a proud BISDAK(Bisayang Dako). My hometown is Cebu but when I got married, we settled here in the province of South Cotabato in Mindanao.

2. I am a proud mom of 3 kids, a 7 yr old girl who will turn 8 next week, a 5-yr old boy and 1 month and 3 weeks old baby girl.

3. I am now a full time mommy as i have quit my job recently.

4. I have broken more than 1 chair because of the way I sit. I sit like an Indian on top of the chair and I move with my whole weight on it.

5. I am a junk food addict.

6. I am afraid of crawling and flying insects.

7. Until now, I don't know if I have a talent that is why I used to call this blog "Untalented". I just don't know where I am good at.

Breastfeeding While Shopping

I was breastfeeding my little angel,when hubby kissed me and baby goodbye early this morning. As usual, I noticed his manly scent and told him that he smells good which then reminded him that his favorite perfume is almost empty. I then asked him to bring the laptop over to the bed. I have a task to do. Online shopping. Actually, I am always in awe every time I am slapped with the convenience of technology. You see, when you are in the mall you just cannot breastfeed AND shop at the same time. But with online shopping I can breastfeed, shop and watch TV in one sitting.

Baby on one hand, mouse on the other, I searched the net effortlessly for his favorite perfume, Hugo Boss. All I did was type a word and click. I compared prices and purchased the perfume using my sister's credit card (of course, with her permission) and then I'm done. No hassle. No fuss. One little glitch, though, is that I have to wait for a few days for the item to arrive but that is insignificant compared to the ease online shopping brings. Right?

Gutsy Housekeeper

I was shocked when I found out my 34-year-old housekeeper was carrying with her a boning knife wrapped only in a piece of paper. Shocked because I just cant believe that she has the guts to carry a deadly weapon everyday. It’s not that I am afraid of my family’s safety. She has been in our family for more than four years and she is already like a family member. It's just that she is carrying it in a very unsafe way. According to her, she is only carrying it for her own protection. You see, she is not living with us as she lives only a few kilometers away from our house. She comes to our house early morning and goes home at dusk. When going home, she sometimes find a ride after dark as tricycles seldom pass our house. She said she just wants to be ready to protect herself in case she gets a drunk driver.

Well, if she really feels the need to carry it, she should be responsible enough on how she carries it. Instead of just by merely wrapping it in a piece of paper, she may keep it in a hard case or she may get a pocket knife like Spyderco Delica, Spyderco Endura, and Sog Flash II. That way, she can avoid the risk of accidentally hurting herself or anybody else for that matter.

Little Angel

One reason why I was away for a quite a long time aside from the fact that I don't have internet connection at home, is that I have my hands full with my precious little angel. After carrying her for 39 weeks and 5 days, my baby girl finally came out last January 8 at 6:20 am. Doctors said I was lucky I was able to give birth through normal delivery. They said something about "cord coil" and "twice". Well, I didn't bother to ask the specifics even if she cried seconds later. What is important is she is alive. I was just so glad to see her and my heart did melt the moment I saw her. I love her instantly then and I can't wait to hold her in my arms which is actually what I have been doing since then. I love you so much Chezelle Rae.

Back For Good

I have been absent in the blogosphere for more than 2 months now. I went on a maternity leave and later on resigned from work which left me no choice but to stay at home with no internet connection. Now, I am back and this time I can say definitely for good. The internet connection I have been waiting for so long is now up and running. So from now on I can stay online 24/7.
